This was a special project for me. It is an album released by Kream Records in 2002 that contains 16 original Australian songwriters.

The Songwriter Live (originally Songwriter Unplugged) movement is the brainchild of Keith Armitage, who had a vision to establish an acoustice style venue of original songwriters playing live. This originally started at The Ivanhoe of Manly and is now run weekly at three venues; The Old Manly Boatshed, The Hotel Delany in Newcastle & The Exchange Hotel in Balmain.

Inspired by the great performances of original artists at Keith Armitage's Songwriters Live, Kream Records released a compilation of some of the best performances during the 2002 period. The album boasts 16 live tracks from acts like Panda, Peregrine, Amy Vee, Ghost Road and more!

I spent many months during 2001-2 recording this material at the Ivanhoe. This resulted in countless hours delving through Pro Tools sessions, and eventually mixing and mastering ... it might have filled my hard drives but it was heaps of fun!

The most precious part for me was to meet artists like Panda, Amy Vee, Jacqueline Amidy, Greg Nunan, Daniel Arvidson & Ghost Road.
